“Eat my dust“ was resounding at the Greek Pavilion, spoken by a child we recorded at the village my mother is from. He was riding his bike alone, imagining he owns a huge motorbike. Two tire marks got revealed after removing the large machine at the build-down of Xirómero/Dryland at Venice Biennale.

A year ago we were installing our work at the Greek Pavilion in Venice, getting ready for the opening of La Biennale. Xirómero/Dryland has been an immersive installation, placing an irrigation machine in the centre of it; our great performer, our slow dancer, bringing the entire work into life.

Another day with thousands of people in the streets protesting against a corrupt Greek government and for justice for the victims of the Tempi train crash. We deserve a better future. Throw this corrupt regime, its yes-men and the army of incompetent lackeys to the garbage bin of history.

A sea of people demonstrated today all over Greece w/parallel demonstrations all over the world against the corruption & coverups of Greek authorities.Things have to change, I hope the massive movement manifests through a progressive power that can reinstate justice & a state that serves the people.

Today there are demonstrations happening in Greece and around the world, about the Tempi train disaster and the corruption & coverup by the Greek authorities. 57 people died and no one is in jail 2 years after the crash. The country deserves a better state, a better future.
