My thought exactly. They’re just pushing this out past the holidays so that the general public won’t be complaining about air travel snafus. Then they can run another shutdown as long as they want. Absolutely ludicrous. *Signed, A fed employee who was willing to ride out for the ACA

holiday travel. What’s to keep them from running another shutdown once this CR runs out and when it won’t impact the general public? That’s what us Feds now have to worry about. Absolutely ludicrous. Oh - and still no deal on healthcare. Sell outs.

As a fed employee I am livid they folded. I was willing to ride this out because I want the People to have access to affordable healthcare. So all of this was for nothing. Meanwhile they got paid and the rest of us didn’t 😡. Now they push this CR down the road just past the Holidays to resume 1/2

Why is no one stopping this and just talking about it?! Why are people not lined up out front screaming?? This is the active destruction of the Peoples’ House 🤬🤬🤬. I know most in DC are spineless and soulless, but someone has to care. Right?? My heart is in a million pieces watching this 😭😭😭
