If you look at statistics as to the percentage of child sex offenders within white/native people and those within the Muslim and/or Pakistani population, it becomes clear that the latter is much higher. The absolute values are higher because they follow population percentages, of course.

I guess the rape victim speaking right now is also racist for naming her rapists and exposing this huge problem (which, in the grooming gangs case, you are right, isn't to do with asylum seekers specifically)?

Yes, I don't understand the racist bit. The Islamophobic bit I do, but throwing around a trendy term without understanding what it means and its implications and refusing to continue discussing is why people are so polarised today. You can't hold a productive discussion with this attitude.

No, I mean the ones that do exist. I assume you don't have a daughter who is among the thousands used as sex slaves by the Pakistani grooming gangs. Or a daughter, wife or sister that was in Cologne in 2016 New Years Eve and among the sexual assault victims.

Maybe tackle the specific crime and benefits issues that cause said "hatred" first? Tackle the cause, and see the consequence dissolve away.

The government and police aren't helping; the grooming gangs scandal is only now beginning to be unfolded, and for it, the word "cover-up" is way too small to describe it. Maybe, if you don't want crazy right wingers to shout "cover-up" everyday, maybe you don't cover it up when it actually happens?

In Greece, when kids are caught physically assaulting people (e.g. while bullying), the parents are also arrested in many cases for neglect. There's an idea.

There is major backlash against the Online Safety Act. It is a poorly thought, badly written law that is trivial to bypass, does nothing to "protect kids" and does everything to give personal data to US companies. As much as one might hate Farage (me incl.) let's not be blindsided here.

Money for what? Nationalisation? You just take the utilities away from the businesses. They are already deep in debt so nothing to pay, just absolve them of their debt. People keep paying bills, but now it will be reasonable bills that just pay for the cost of service rather than for shareholders.
