A league of their own 🥰, books, theater, movies, traveling
The witches. As a child, I was obsessed with the movie, but I had not read the book. It was fun, I liked the grandmother and the relationship she had with the boy. I also really enjoyed the way he portrays the other adults, mostly as irresponsible people (not everyone should be a parent)

Feminism is for everybody. This is such an important book, I always thought that the biggest problem in our society is the fact that people don't wanna teach, and they also don't wanna learn. This book talks about that, feminism is for everybody, and we need to talk more about that

About love. A reunion of poems on what Bukowski had to say about love. Some of them were beautiful, some I did not like, some were pretty sad. In general, I liked

The seven kittens. Another play. The women from a family prostitute themselves with the help of the parents to save money to the youngest wedding. Until she's expelled from school from killing a pregnant kitten and they find out that she is also pregnant

I really loved this book. It's very scary to think about this one, bc it is so well written that it shows us that it's fiction, but if we're not careful, the future may be that horrible. I wish everybody would read that one

I just wanna be yours. I did not like this one, I liked the idea, but the reading was not that pleased to me

The Holy Inquiry, another theater play from Dias Gomes. He speaks about a woman that saves a priest, and then he decided to save her soul without any reason. To avoid the desire he's feeling, he sends her to a holy inquiry. It's a very good story

This is a Finland book, an epic collection of poetry that had a lot of influence on Tolkien (whose books I really like). I did not like the translation of this edition, but the book was very fun. It's for those who love fantasy books

Sunrise on the Reaping. What a great book. It was incredible to see how Haymitch's hunger games were and why he was so broken in the first trilogy. I cried several times, and fell in love with caracthers, I lost them. It was a great ride

The Anxious Generation. It's a very good reading. If we plan to protect children, we really need to start taking them away from smartphones and internet access. Plus, it speaks a lot about things we may be feeling since our contact with the internet is also something new to us. It's really worth it

Forgive Me for Betraying Me. It's a theater play, tells the story of rich girls that prostitute themselves, talks about doctors that have agreements with pimps to make illegal abortations, uncles who are very strict, but bc they're abusers and murders. In the end, it's a very sad, but beautiful play
