Even when you're having a bad moment, when someone learnt you were a thing and wanted to meet you, it's hard to say "no".

My father passed last Monday.
Almost around the same hour the following Monday, my stepmom had a stroke. I was supposed to meet her to finalise the arrangements.
Thankfully she is improving but she won't be at the funeral.
I am ready for this year to end, already. 🐾
