I mean her own district was quite red and she still got the vote because people loved that she took no shit. I wouldn't be surprised if she could outright take one of those red district gerrymanders by pure texas celebrity power at this point.

I think it is reasonable to assume that texans as a whole are probably too scared of competent and confident black woman and it would impact the margins enough to matter. But close to her home district she's a hit. Why are they competing in stead of coordinating to win across the state's key roles?

Yeah racism is a hell of a drug.

What gets me is that these are both candidates that I want protecting america from the republican assault. Why are they competing in stead of coordinating? Why isn't the party working to get them both in positions where they can do real good?

Dude, some of these people out here were in a hoodie and sweatpants. Straight up jotunn.

The city did see fit to park a firetruck with a water cannon on top right next to us though in case we start demanding healthcare again. Glad they didn't use it. That would have been some serious murder.
January 23, 2026 at 10:44 PM
They wouldn't have to do that if we didn't elect somebody who is destroying our economy, healthcare, intelligence institutions, as well as our international relations.

This just in: Sean is a shit human being working for the republican propaganda corporation.

Are we going to expect him not to act as the corrupt institution selected and paid him to? How many of their ex-employees are in the cabinet now? This is a cog in the racism machine doing as a cog does.

Remember that massive economic damage to blue states is an intended effect of the ICE deployments. Keep the resisting companies alive. Places like target though, they can starve.

For anyone who wants to know if its one of their reps. Here's a repost from the parkrose permaculture video on them:
Henry Cuellar (Texas)
Vicente Gonzalez (Texas)
Jared Golden (Maine)
Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (Washington)
Don Davis (N.C.)
Tom Suozzi (N.Y.)
Laura Gillen (N.Y.)

Congressional seats are a state matter. The issue here is Texas. While it is also an issue more generally, this is a "one bite of the whale at a time" type of task. Get your locals doing ranked choice and move up the chain. That will force the primaries and presidentals(after the college) to change.

Hey everybody, quiet! Its the Minnesota invasion force vs the Venezuelan boat boys. I hear if you win, your branch gets some honor back.

Not legal advice etc and feel free to correct me. MN seems to allow for free video recording in public areas and workplaces. Audio-wise it is a one party consent state meaning one party in the conversation must know and approve, so that part may be good to go if you take an order/don't record audio.
January 19, 2026 at 3:13 AM
That is completely unrelated to the current conversation and borders on nonsense. Nobody claimed that.

It was a concrete example of the exact thing you were insinuating was an imaginary threat. You may in fact have foreign powers influencing your political media feeds. I'm not sure how that classifies as "non responsive" in your mind, but I'd love to hear more about how you got there.
January 18, 2026 at 7:46 PM
You are now aware of the right wing social media accounts that were in an indictment for taking nearly 10million dollars from RT through a Tennessee based media company called Tenet media. Since we no longer investigate russian influence as a matter of policy, it is likely that the answer is yes.

You see, democrats are about solving problems. When a sitting president fucks this many things up at once, that becomes the main the problem we are interested in solving.
January 18, 2026 at 7:14 PM
Yeah, but now they will be there without the APCs and tear gas....maybe.
January 16, 2026 at 8:11 PM
It is unfortunately a rational act. They have corrupt judges in many places and are gambling on getting one in with their corner. The cost of failure is a few lawyer's pay and success means money paid to their racist agenda by every American. And at the end of the day they appeal to a corrupt SCOTUS
January 15, 2026 at 3:51 PM
After this the GOP will not have any agency. Can you imagine the house talks?
"I think we should be spending less on health and human services"
"Yeah well, you put a pedophile in office that enacted a race war, started an occupation war, and destroyed our economy."
They cant give up their last shot.
