I have heard of it, but I don't recall ever playing it. I grew up in the Shenandoah Valley, so that's probably how I've heard of it.

-it actually was and he seared that factoid into my brain. 17 years later, my job moved me to said county where I now find myself educating my colleagues (who granted aren't from here) about why our public school district is so f'ed up. The cycle continues.

Our US history textbook had one sentence about mass resistance and Prince Edward County Virginia schools (became a part of Brown v BoEd). My teacher went off script *gasp* to tell us about a district near ours that was also closed. It was the 1st time that I actually understood how "in my backyard"-
