Went on a motorcycle ride on a beautiful sunny day out in the Alberta countryside. Before the cold and and the snow make its appearance. Stopped for a bagel and a coffee at a delightful looking bakery and sandwich shop just off main street. Then…, the realization. PoiLIEvre’s new spot too. Rode on.

Just rode the Edmonton/Jasper/Banff Rocky Mountain route to Calgary then back to Edmonton the next day. 1100 kilometres. Been 40 years since I rode that route. Wow. Beautiful weather. Sore butt.

I watched it all, because well, of course we did! Was very impressed. Carney is a funny, funny guy! Kind of goofy, but his comic style is amplified by that fact that we know how damned smart he is. Clever. Confident. Strategic. Could you imagine if he hadn’t stepped up to run for the leadership? 🇨🇦📎

Great to greet Carney in Edmonton and to wish him luck at his last rally of the campaign! It was packed inside, leaving a few hundred of us to listen via speakers outside! The crowd was friendly, and happy - to just gather close to Canada’s Prime Minister. Tomorrow…, vote!
