What a great movie. I think my favorite moment might be when Fonda comes out of the barber shop and just kind of meanders around the gallery in front of the stores. The figure he cuts, the way he uses his height and ranginess, his all-dressed-up-and-nowhere-to-go antsiness.

Trump without Trump — like it. One of the many great things about dropping cable some years ago is that I can follow every appalling twist and turn of this vile administration and almost ever hear his voice. It helps.

I sounds like a worthwhile book. Just ordered. I’ll have to make a book cover from a brown paper bag as I did for my grammar school textbooks so I won’t have to look at that revolting mug.

I think you’re wrong in saying he implied the shooter was MAGA. He’s talking about the baseless narrative that MAGA world was trying to establish before anyone knew anything about the shooter’s political sympathies and motivations.
