I had a lovely time at COMPANION, which isn't so much a horror film as a romcom that's gone off the rails.

That said, I wish I'd found space here to mention Steven Soderbergh's intimate ghost movie PRESENCE. More eerie than scary, but the ending is devastating. Henry James would have liked it.
