Adding on to my thoughts about this book: Kingdom of the Pines was incredibly well executed. It was so well written that I had to put down the book briefly to figure out if it was a real branch of christianity. And the specific framing of faith and bigotry hit the nail on the head: faith
i just finished reading Camp Damascus by @chucktingle.bsky.social and i’m so mad at myself that I didn’t read it earlier, because it’s such a phenomenal book. All the technical bits that go into writing were done masterfully. But the biggest highlight to me was Rose. 1/6
