Saw a thread on Twitter talking about how the Weird Route is essentially forcing traditional gender roles of marriage on Kris and Noelle (Kris forced into taking a "male" role in controlling Noelle who's pushed into subservience as the woman) and like yeah, there's a LOT to unpack in this game

The convo Machu had with Lalah like, 3 episodes ago or so kinda sealed the deal for any of the original characters from this show having any sort of, well anything, outside of being vehicles to more 0079 nostalgia. Shuji in the span of this finale somehow just became a plot device for Lalah lmao.

They were fitting class dynamics, trade policies, assassination plotting, career planning, and teenage drama all within 23 minutes. What an episode.
