WTF do we even do with all the fascists in our police and armed services, though? Sure, Drumpf is bad, but it feels worse and hopeless to see so many gleefully strap on those jackboots.

Not only that, but cars now need to have a "personality." We've given trucks comically huge front grilles to project manly gravitas, and muscle/sports cars caricatures of angry faces that say "I could totally take you out bro" because we're too insecure to be ok with just using a regular f'ing car

Until we can climb from under the rubble only thing I can think to do is do good to those around me when I can. Expect and prepare for the worst. Take it a day at a time. And DON'T GIVE THE TROLLS WHAT THEY WANT.

At this point, I'm not sure the US will survive before that can happen. It's going to get worse. A lot worse. It will be decades before we recover, and we'll never be the same. Blood is not out of the question (and some respects, has already been shed).
