The new Bases feature in Obsidian is exciting. I am curious how others are using it? What are the pro's and con's from your experience?

Muscle memory never fails to amaze me. As someone who experiments with various Tools for Thought, I place a high value on solid keyboard support during my evaluations. When taking notes, quick access to keyboard shortcuts for key elements like headers, styling, and bullet points is essential. (1/3)

Obsidian Sticky Headings

This is a very interesting plugin that keeps headings in view as you scroll down. This can be useful, especially with large documents.

Strange New Worlds 2.2.0 Update

Focused on boosting performance and accuracy.

This plugin might be underappreciated. It addresses a problem you didn't know existed. If you're into note linking, backlinks, or graph views, give it a try.

If you have been or are a Notion user, you know how wonderful it is to have a database in your notes. I look forward to Obsidian offering dynamic views. There is an interesting debate on this on Reddit.

This might also be interesting. During mobile startup, there is still a "check." You can usually click "skip," & all is fine. I hope they give us an option to turn off this check.

This is discussed on forums. Please comment on the thread to encourage a solution.

I've updated all my Apple devices to the latest OS, which lets us mark iCloud folders to stay downloaded.

As some of you know, I am testing this out in #Obsidian since it was officially released. I have to say so far it is going well. Sync has proven reliable. 📱💻🖥️🌟

AI in Obsidian - What do you think about it?

I am curious how many people are already using AI with their vault? Or how many plan to do so? How many of you don't even know where to start?

How do handle AI with your notes?

Cornell Notes has a long, proven history. The Cornell Note-Taking System, developed in the 1950s by education professor Walter Pauk at Cornell University, is a widely recognized method for organizing & summarizing information.

Obsidian has been working with the community to build importers. Check out the open source project at: github.com/obsidianmd/o...

This is brilliant, helping users make an easier transition to Obsidian. Check out the format currently supported for import.

Templates in Obsidian are seen as any other file, meaning if you include frontmatter in the template, to prevent this:

A simple hack is to replace the --- with <%"---"%>.
