ResearchGate just asked me if Robert Kennedy authored some of my papers with me (on whale genetics). What the hell is going on!? Has he hired folks at ResearchGate to help pad his resume? This is crazy and alarming. Curious to hear if others are seeing this.

Books read in 2024. Highlights include Between the World and Me, Evolution in Four Dimensions, Conservation Social Science, The Lion, and Why They Can't Write. Also, the passing of Paul Auster reminded me of how much I like his writing, and was a reminder to continue reading his books.
