fly fisher searching for peace and harmony. If you are going to bitch about something go ahead, but I won't be involved.
do you know how the survive the deer when first growing? Mine never make it to flowering because the deer seem to love the sprouts.

The very best way to get young children into fishing. Almost always works, when the crab comes in they are first terrified and then fascinated, and the investment in tackle is a ball of string. Perfect.

yep, that will definitely get a positive response from a smallie

He had to take a break, get his mind right, and then do it a SECOND time.

Yep, the key is committing to the process. I explained it to someone before they were going to help me. They were tentative on the jerk. Needless to say, it was not the best experience...

I have been flyfishing/tying for a long time. This is the first time I have seen this and it is brilliant. Such a simple solution that never occurred to me. Thanks.

Lovely brown. I have never fished the Driftless. What is the average stream size like? Do you need something smaller than a 4 weight?
June 20, 2025 at 1:28 PM
Interesting. I did not plant them because of their toxicity to dogs and deer.

Of course slugs are immune to it. I try not to hate anything but really struggling with them.

Interesting. Do you have to build a multi segment tippet leader off of that? Looks very visible, so I am thinking you need 6-8 feet of tippet not to spook the fish.

Amen brother. That is my dream.
