I was thinking TNG, unless that was a reference to 1984?

It was a little campy at times, but come on, it was a movie about tracking down space jesus haha

At least it wasn't Alien Covenant. That was really bad

I loved the "Jesus was a giant albino alien" storyline! I just wish they had kept it in the movie

I did forget about the running straight away thing haha

Honestly my only issue with it is how bad Guy Pearce's old man makeup is. But other than that, it's some of the best visual effects ever.

I feel like most people just didn't like it because Fox really played up the Alien relationship.
