The quote attributed to Adams here is taken from a treaty that he signed that was written during Washington's administration. I suppose it's fair to quote him as saying it since he signed a treaty stating it, but difficult to know whose words they actually were.

Much, much more important than this. This vote was completely meaningless and everybody who voted yes or no on this bill knew that the bill was dead regardless of how they voted.

I wish PF didn't use their fact-checks of trump to find how many "kind of synonyms of 'lie' they can use without pointing out that Trump is in fact just straight up lying. There's no other way to describe the claim that DOGE has eliminated 130 billion of "Fraud" than a complete and total lie.

They will notice your inaction if you never shop from them again. If you *wait 24 hours* to buy the same thing from the same place, nobody at all will ever know or care, because the impact on their bottom line is zero.
