The Studio Tour is relocated to the rear of the Lower Lot to place the tram tour right in the action of production. The queue building contains museum scenes of the history of the studio and the tram tour. Guests load onto the current trams and then head out for the experience.

The last land of the park is Hill Valley of 2055. This expansion replaces most of the stages in the Lower Lot area behind Transformers. The land recreates a futuristic version of the town square and provides a unique sci-fi themed environment to the park.

This Shrek themed land adds another family focused land to the park. The land features a Shrek swamp meet and greet and a small Duloc town square area with a covered teacups style flat ride and a classic dark ride where the story of Shrek is retold by the Magic Mirror.

The existing Jurassic themed area is expanded. There are no new attractions, but the areas around Jurassic World: The Ride are redeveloped. New themed buildings define a plaza in front of the splashdown pool and hold retail and a new indoor Velociraptor meet and greet.

The remaining areas of the park are all down at the Lower Lot. One big change is the demo of Mummy and the reconstruction of the last set of escalators in a rotated position so that the escalators drop off at a more central neutral area of the Lower Lot instead of right into JW.

Exiting out of Dark Universe, guests cross a plaza space with a view over the lot and then face the gateway to the Emerald City. Still questionable if Wicked has the longevity to be a theme park land, but the Emerald City looks perfect for one to me so I went for it.

I think it is essential to celebrate Universal Monsters in the studio where they were born. This is not a copy of the Epic Universe land, but instead like a parallel location in the story. There is a crumbling village, wandering Monsters, and a main attraction that drives the story.
