I get that. And I agree. A trans woman never had periods or became menopausal. It’s the shared space issue that I think is a complete red herring.

This 1000%. The whole point about women’s safety IS a niche issue. And exactly - what about trans men in men only spaces? No one cares. This is pure culture war bullshit and is fomented by right wing grifters to distract from real issues. Let people be people. Also this illustrates Ian point.

The whole debate is insane. It’s such niche ‘issue’ and, quite honestly, how many trans women do most people know? My wife and my mother get so exercised about the debate, and they’re both, on other political matters, really liberal people. It’s a weird one.
