Politics isn’t supposed to feel like a sport. When people treat it like their team must win at all costs, everyone loses. I’d rather see leaders who can think, listen, and adjust than ones who only perform for their base.

We talk a lot about holding politicians accountable, but almost never about holding ourselves accountable for who we vote for. Democracy isn’t a spectator sport, it’s a mirror.
