We lost his half-brother at the end of last year but were lucky to have 11 years with him. We are now looking for a companion for Odie but aren't in a rush.

Odie is not much help but he is lending moral support that I need to trudge around behind the mower.

So, the Astros are far from the bottom of the pile however it appears that the resources are substantial enough that the team should have kept at least one, if not both, of the two super-stars that are now tearing it up for other teams.
Not having deep enough pockets doesn't seem to be the case.
