I'm sure they are confident there's nothing incriminating in what they are releasing. But I'm also aware how incompetent they are and that there's a very high likelihood that there is information in them they didn't even notice.

I'm explaining it poorly but I'm totally on your side. AI has uses, but GenAI absolutely shouldn't be one of them.

Not generative. Computers can't create something from nothing, so anything they "create" has to have been sourced from someone else's work. In the weather instance it's scanning and analyzing past data to find patterns so I guess that would be algorithms.
