Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick, the lead advocate for a THC ban in Texas, held a press conference Monday following Gov. Greg Abbott's veto.

"I’m not going to legalize marijuana in Texas," he said, "and if people want to vote me out of office for that, so be it."
