Lake Texoma & High Plains Highways
Grayson County and Reagan County reflect two very different but equally Texan ways of life. Grayson, along the Oklahoma border, is growing quickly thanks to Lake Texoma, manufacturing, and suburban expansion spilling north from DFW. Reagan County: anchored by Big Lake, is a quieter stretch of West Texas, where ranching and oilfields define the local rhythm. One county is planning for rapid growth and new opportunity; the other is holding fast to heritage and resilience in a changing economy. Both counties show the common Texas belief that community matters more than political division.

Rim of the Caprock & Heart of the Basin
Randall County and Upton County reveal two Texas landscapes built on resilience, community, and a sense of place. Randall: home to part of Amarillo and the stunning Palo Duro Canyon, blends suburban growth with Panhandle heritage. Upton County, deep in the Permian Basin, is quieter and more rugged, shaped by oilfields, ranching, and the endurance of small towns like Rankin and McCamey. One county grows through education, healthcare, and suburban momentum; the other through energy, land stewardship, and close-knit rural ties. Together, they show how Texas thrives when both its population centers and its frontier spaces have a seat at the table.
