We get to have them around during the fall and winter months. We look forward to their arrival in October every year. They fly out in the mornings and return in the late afternoons to the roost area 1/4 mile beyond our backyard. We love hearing and seeing them daily.

Yeah very familiar with them but they don’t get down to our area in south Corpus Christi, altho we see a family of them every year at Turnbull Birding Center in Port Aransas.

The adults of the WTHA do have that red shoulder like the Harris’s.
