I could fight a bobcat
Great article but my only takeaway is that Patrick Mahomes eats steak with ketchup and yeah actually of course he does. That makes sense.

I for one hope Patrick Mahomes gets over the horrible injury that could potentially destroy his whole career, no matter how close she is to Taylor Swift

So I just learned that my wife thought until right now that Blind Melon and Smashing Pumpkins were the same band.

Please don't call CPS but my 2 year old daughter absolutely loves ska and oi punk.

I've lived in this city for 17 years. I lived in this apartment for 15 years. In two weeks I leave both forever. So fucking surreal.

Fun fact: if you see this on stage and the orchestra is fewer than 12 players there's a good chance it's my orchestration.
🎄 Today’s podcast about the 2004 TV movie adaptation of Alan Menken’s “A Christmas Carol: The Musical,” starring Kelsey Grammer as Scrooge. It’s ok on TV but belongs on a stage.

I forged this episode link by link and dumb joke by dumb joke with @michaelmay.bsky.social & @spidey004.bsky.social!
Advent Calendar House | A Christmas Carol: The Musical
🎄 It is once again Scrooge Sunday, and the time has come to awkwardly smoosh our spirits through the walls of our bedchamber and float back to 2004 for a special TV movie based on Alan Menken’s mus...

Matt it's awesome that you've agreed to fund scholarships for all the people who disagree with everything OU did but are there because of their generous scholarships for in-state students, especially since Oklahoma is largely below the poverty line. You gonna set up an endowment or a trust or what?
Oklahoma has decided they don’t want real universities. Students there should all transfer, and employers should consider OU degrees worthless
OU has put the professor here on administrative leave:

We've told the friends we needed to.

We're moving. Texan no longer in NYC, December 29, 2025.

Philosophically I agree with Alabama being in the playoffs. But they're going to embarrass themselves.
December 7, 2025 at 6:01 PM
Weird fucking night man.

Nothing to do with football, but that's certainly a fun metaphor for the rest of it.

I know true crime media being exploitative is not exactly a novel idea, but... a famous murder in my tiny little hometown was recently featured on one of the major podcasts, so I got curious and gave it a listen.

This is both insulting to my intelligence and horribly offensive to the victims.

I have a couple of polyamorous acquaintances, and one of the things I am struck by is how much of their time goes into literally just managing their time. It's really quite impressive.

So yeah, after Les Miles and Brian Kelly, I get the appeal of hiring Kiffin.

Rumor is that Alabama is sitting a star player on Saturday who could play, but has a minor injury, so he can heal up for the playoffs.

It starts.

For anyone watching The Pitt - I have it on good authority they shot some externals in New Orleans for season 2, and that it will touch on Dr Robbie's stinr there during Katrina.

Say it to his face, Ken.

Wait no.

At the used book table at our local farmers' market a couple years ago, I bought a Joe Namath biography for a dollar, only to find out when I got it home that it was signed by Herm Edwards at some point while he was the Jets coach.
I have a Wheaties box from when Ripken broke the record. I am not an Orioles nor a Cal Ripken fan
What is the most "obscure" piece of sports memorabilia that you own? Why do you have it?

Apropos of nothing, remembering that time that a certain Brit on EDSBS said, offering zero evidence, that he was confident that Alabama also had a Sandusky-esque pedophilia scandal but they were just able to cover it up completely.

So I guess the questions about whether or not Penn State is a blue blood are officially answered then?

Hugh Freeze, Lane Kiffin, and whoever comes next is potentially an amazing 1-2-3 punch, Ole Miss.

Collin Klein to Kansas State makes a lot more sense now that I've realized that he is not, in fact, kellen Moore.

The first time I ever heard this song was in a rehearsal for a cabaret singer's Christmas concert.

It is very hard to play bass while your head is exploding.
🎄 GOOD MORNING, and welcome back to the annual Italian Christmas Donkey Challenge 🫏

The rules are simple 🌟

You must find a person who has never heard “Dominick the Donkey” and play it for them:

Here's a left field take for the next guy to do it - Vinnie Sunseri will probably get a head coaching job at some point.
Do you think we'll ever see someone win a national championship as a player and as a head coach? I feel like Greg McElroy could've done it but decided to go into broadcasting.

I've been writing a jukebox musical of '90s country songs all year so my Spotify wrapped is hilarious.
