Taking advantage of a lazy Saturday to transfer some patterns for some “embroidery in progress” towels. About to try out an iron-on transfer pen from Sublime Stitching (do they have a Bluesky?) — already super impressed, and haven’t even gotten to the ironing part yet! #embroidery

Friends, why is the most important step in a #handembroidery project the single most tedious thing ever? Damp stretching My Lady Adelie to get all the wrinkles out after a gentle bath, and getting the pins in place is a pain (sometimes literally! 📌)

A very long and mildly frustrating day at work means cueing up the new Bernadette Banner video, cracking open a bag of peanut butter m&m’s, and doing some therapeutic stabbing via #handembroidery. First real #embroidery project is nearly done!

These last two weeks have been absolutely insane IRL and I’ve barely been able to get any kind of #handembroidery done, but check out the lap stand my beloved Momma Penguin sent me!
