We are not where we are in spite of our constitution, we are here because of our constitution. The document is fatally flawed and we need to begin the process of replacing it.

I don't think the current constitution is up to the job. We need to convene a new continental congress to start fresh with a document designed for the 21st century, not the 18th.

Yes, but Nixon was more progressive than any Republican and some Democrats since. Remember he passed the Clean Air and Clean Water Acts.

It truly does all begin with Reagan. He coined the term "welfare queen". Those who claim the Dumpster's blatant racism is a break from Reagan Republicanism are willfully blind to the reality of Republican racism and it's roots

Exactly. The document is no longer fit for purpose and the amount of amendments required is unreasonable. We should start over from a blank slate, and be humble enough to understand that 100 years from now, our ideas will be outdated and unworkable too.

So would you support a constitution with an expiration date, forcing society to renegotiate the social contract every 100 years or so?

Close. My dad needed an extension cord to plug in his TV antenna so he can cut the cord and drop his expensive streaming service, so I spent a whole $11 (But not on Amazon, Target or Home Depot)

I'll say it again, Reich 2028!

Have the wheels really come off the MAGA circus train? With Trump's 3rd divorce (from MTG) spelling the end?
November 22, 2025 at 5:17 PM
😅🤣😂 You're so funny...
November 22, 2025 at 2:14 PM
Its almost funny how fast the wheels are falling off that wagon...

Where is our Robespierre?
November 22, 2025 at 1:02 PM
I am thinking more on the lines of a new Continental Congress. Start over, blank slate. The current document is too broken for a little tinkering to work.

And while we're at it, if some states choose to go a different way (fascism), well, adios, sayonara, good riddance.

Wait, are you implying there's a remote possibility there might not be a tooth fairy??? 😮
