Generic name. Shouldn’t matter
Since they won’t hold the Great Embarrassment accountable, they don’t need to deport Elon. They could just take his businesses. That would remind me of the communism that the USSR had. Hmm

Freedom and no taxes made sense when America was “unsettled” and dangerous. Culture changed in the Industrial Revolution. Social policies are required because there isn’t new land to discover. Policy shouldn’t motivate people to walk west to make their fortune working hard on “unclaimed” land.

Grandfather left school at 12, worked as a tailor. Served in WWII. Didn’t believe inflation existed. Voted R every time except for Kennedy(catholic) and Gore(smart), his last vote
I’m proud of him.

Other one refused a moment of silence for political murder victims last Sunday while in church.

First they came for the immigrants, but my people had soccer games and it was cold.
Next they took the students, but it was Easter tradition.
Then they took dissenters, but it was a Thursday and protests had been frequent.
Finally they took elected officials, but it was too hot and they were scared.

I feel like I’m in 2nd class on the Titanic. The officers are fighting over who gets to be first mate. The captain is yelling that ice only exists to border the flat earth.
I want to coal shovelers to get paid, but I really want to stop, mutiny and make sure this boat we are all on stays afloat

I grasp people getting older realizing their working life is limited, so don’t want wages to go up because inflation. Selfish but I get it.
How can any parent of 2.4 kids vote to keep them in poverty in order to retire a year earlier. Then support huge sales tax called tariffs.

Pride? Abuse?

Have faith in your choice. The choice should be based on evidence. Faith is not evidence.

Do not base your choice on nothing but faith. Do not believe the faithful because of their faith alone.

2 instead of 30 argument is an excellent example that Rs know that toys will not just be double in price. Everything will be more expensive and scarcity will cause toys to be equivalent to 15x greater.

Looks to be worse on “pro life” families with more kids.

Take that childless cat ladies

I often imagine telling any mechanics that they don’t understand how my car engine works. I don’t need to change any fluids or replace any parts, I only need them to torture the car into working. All while I pray for it.

Sound like a dumb idea yet? That’s Science, tariffs, immigration… too many…

I think polling forecasts should be banned from social media two weeks before every election.

It’s similar to finding the energy and location of an electron. The measurement affects the outcome.

Or, the stadium announcer calls a no hitter before the last at bat.

With tariffs and deportations, it feels like MAGAts think they will all be great subsistence plantation managers.

They don’t grasp how big tech will make AI their overlords when all opposition is gone.

It will look a whole lot like the “communism” that they hate.

I understand MAGA was suckered to think pre45 was a good negotiator, but he always came from the side of “billionaire” to thousandaire. That was never going to translate well to countries. Or trillionaire to trillionaire.

Cerium is one of the rare earth metals used in manufacturing. So good thing it is unstable again.
In 2009 I cared about the price of Cerium. China was the only producer and kept raising the price. US had closed mines which were estimated to take 7 years to open again.

So thankful that every closed factory is kept in working order and a strategic reserve of robots for manufacturing exist today.

Carnegie and Rockefeller each controlled a raw material market. Industries couldn’t survive without steel and oil. Chose philanthropy anyway.

No industry needs Ťeslas as a raw material. There are many other car companies. I doubt their solar products are recession proof.

Miles from smart.

No one enjoys the tiny personal risk that comes with vaccines, but most understand the personal and societal result from not taking them.

Protesting is similar. Small risk to myself for societal change that benefits my life as well. Both require a minimum threshold to have a grand effect.

Why would clear market manipulation without oversight be a smart place to put your money?

There are other markets in the world. And they have stable governments!

Americans were taught that the Sons of Liberty (Boston Tea party) were patriots in school. They were clearly paid antiFA actors to the king.

How has this not been rewritten yet like minority and women history recently.

Or maybe we have to start wearing 3 cornered hats to rallies.

Being a SAHD is an isolating experience. Having to explain to a toddler why we were protesting was hard, every single time. The fear from 2020 protests was nearly paralyzing.

Being among the crowd as a community was truly priceless. Thank you #handsoff

We should double the property tax on a second (single family) house. Triple for a third, continuing for however many owned. That would motivate people who hoard rental homes to sell. Help fix the lack of affordable housing.

Refund that excess if it sold. No loophole for being “for sale”

I like ranked voting, but good luck there.

How about every candidate has a yes/no option. You can fill as many answers as you want. Highest ratio yes/no wins.

Also, no need for primaries. And a tax refund for voting.

I have not fact checked:
I’ve read that Napoleon used had someone else sign for him during the Louisiana Purchase. Null and void.

If France could take a look at that soon. Please.
It wouldn’t fix everything in my life, but it would help.

Rural “friends” tell me how hard it is to live because of the travel time to schools, hospitals and grocery stores etc.

I’m still shocked that they are also conservative. As if private companies are waiting for tax breaks to spend $$$ to serve dozens of people.
