TIL that "Latin America" is an extremely literal concept and refers to the American countries that speak languages that derive from Latin - so Mexico, Brazil and French Guiana are included, but Belize, Guyana and Suriname are not

it looks like a lot of people here are using their twitter profile pictures to sort of tie the two identities together
unfortunately I set my twitter picture to a baby hippopotamus back in october when I was afraid of being perceived (and fired) by elon & I don’t really want to bring that here

Interesting to see the user expectation gap between web2 and next gen. Average users expect to see rapid iterations, meanwhile next gen platform requires coordination between product and protocol layers

i block someone on my server. ok. where does that information get stored? just my server? then other servers don’t know to respect it. ok, i publish it then. what if the other server doesn’t listen? what if there’s services beyond servers? (there are)
