the thing that kills me is the same garbage arguments have been pedaled for 30 years now. i started a masters in urban planning in 2002 - not long after _Suburban Nation_ came out. it’s like we have all the data and good arguments, but something isn’t landing with people.

it’s shows how pathetically uncreative and ‘uninnovative’ these people are. original ideas would yield novel results instead of this garbage. only problem is the boston dynamics dog is so unbelievably creepy! but more efficient for sure….

Agree with this whole thread! And also am sensitive to the women who haven’t had an opp to engage with writings/discussions that result in the lightbulb moments. We need to start subversive feminist book clubs / 70s style consciousness-raisings!
