This hit me bc it’s what I’m dealing with - surrounded by either evil people who support Don the Con or indifferent ostriches sticking their head in the sand the minute you mention anything “political” and make you seem like the crazy person for speaking up. Time for a Boondock rewatch.
It was the 25th anniversary of the boondock saints yesterday. This quote stood out more than ever to me.

A Oklahoma City police officer, Sgt. Joseph Gibson, 28, was charged with with felony assault yesterday after he body slammed Lich Vu, 71, breaking his neck, following an argument over a traffic ticket.
Vu suffered a brain bleed, a broken neck and eye socket, and is still in the hospital.

I'd REALLY like to see a coordinated effort by the hundreds of groups "on the left" instead of disjointed, singular approaches.
The right has a 24/7/365 propaganda network that can focus pretty much ALL on the right to take an action: show up at a school board meeting to fight trans students, etc.
