labour’s attack on the disabled affects everyone. it’s not a matter of if you become disabled, it’s when. one day you will get old and suffer from mobility issues, loss of sight or hearing, you’ll get sick, and you’ll wish you had fought for disability rights

The new OpenAI creative writing bot's "short story" has the phrase "democracy of ghosts". It's the sort of phrase that would make me stop and admire it, if I were reading a human author - which, it turns out, I was, because it's from Nabokov's 1957 novel "Pnin".
