Flight 5342 was traveling from ICT in Wichita to DCA in Washington, D.C., when it collided with an Army helicopter over the Potomac River.
Grok had the states wrong. It had the crash site wrong. Hell, the crash didn't even happen OVER LAND.

Fostering dogs is such a roller coaster.
I took Arlo back to the shelter Sunday. I didn’t feel like I could meet his needs.
He is incredibly sweet, smart and knows commands, but he’s also the most anxious dog I’ve met. He needs to be assessed by ACS’s trainer so there’s a plan for helping him.

A few things about Arlo from our first 22ish hours together:
- Housebroken.
- Knows sit, down, stay, paw & wait.
- Ball is life. LIIIIIIIIFE. Played fetch for 30 min. this morning & never tired (unlike my arm). He actually gives the ball back!
- Velcro pup must keep me in his line of sight always.

ACS thinks there was some abuse/neglect in his background before ultimately being surrendered by his owner last week.
He’s very stressed and anxious about all the changes, and the injury on his noggin wasn’t healing well in the shelter. So we’re hanging out.

Glizzy had been in two homes before mine. In one, he was constantly attacked by a Yorkie. The other returned him after just five days.
With me, he got to decompress and put on much-needed weight, and we learned so much about his personality, which helped his new mom decide he was the perfect fit.

Today I went to pick up my foster dog, Glizzy, after a weekend back at the shelter while I was away, and I walked in at the very moment a sweet retired nurse was filling out the paperwork to take him to his NEW HOME!!!
