For a place that is supposed to be more civil, it's interesting I find Bluesky just as bad as X but in a different way. I posted a comment on someone's post simply saying we need more civility from all sides, and got blocked. Crazy how people can't stand even the idea of being "more peaceful".

If she still had a D next to her name and was saying the same things (which she did all the way back to her days as a Congresswoman from Hawaii), the left would love her. Yet, because she supported the bad orange man, it's one conspiracy theory after another. Sad.

Biden destroyed the Democrats moral high ground. If he really believed the federal cases against Hunter were selective (he already knew the outcomes yet before the election said he wouldn't pardon), why didn't he just commute his sentence? Instead he gave a blanket pardon to any crime?

I really think social channels need down votes for posts. I think if people could just down vote there would be a lot less negative commentary (though certainly not all) and people who feel they won't be liked might feel more at ease voting down. Now its either love or verbal chaos.

Still to me one of the best communicators of science ever.
