Here's the difference between CCS and CDR. CCS is from a point source, and CDR is from the free atmosphere. When we're at net zero (ha!), only CDR can remove CO₂ from the atmosphere.
I see that a lot of people still need to look at this infographic about the difference between carbon removal (CDR) and carbon capture (CCS).

But does it, Javed? I feel there’s more fearmongering here than anything else.

How can one chose to die with honour (whatever their definition is) and who are we as society to strip them from that right?

Lastly, I am always #ProChoice with proactive regulation of the outcome of choices, not the choice itself.

👉 Religion should never EVER be a factor in policy. Your religious beliefs are just that. Yours, and beliefs. And they might change over time, they might morph and they might disappear.

👉 #Dignity is crucial for this. Allowing people to die dignified and choose the way they go is much more humane than the alternative!

👉 I understand the argument about how people might feel they are “expected” to carry out assisted dying so they’re not a burden on their families but that needs to be balanced with those who feel they are a burden on their families and cannot do anything about it.

👉 passing the bill is not (and should not) be an alternative or a get out of jail card for providing palliative or good end of life care.

👉 the bill does not mean that the government decides who lives and who dies. It means that it gives the option to do so to people.

I agree, unfortunately 😔

We have seen this spike already over spilling outside the US. Racist, anti-LGBTQI+ and ableist comments and incidents are rampant at the moment, even in metropolitan cities like #London.

It’s gonna be a long winter I’m afraid but spring will come.
