Is the kingdom of heaven built by laws and rulers, or by hearts transformed by grace? And if the church becomes a weapon of the state, does it still speak with the voice of the Good Shepherd? Let us ask these questions before mistaking nationalism for the narrow way.

Jesus never grasped for earthly rule—so why do his followers? If the church trades the cross for a flag, witness for influence, and love for legislation, does it still reflect the heart of the gospel?
