Being a Final Fantasy Tactics fiend, I got Hoshigami. The vibes were so wrong. Complexity results in tedium instead of depth. The only good idea was pushing enemies around, which Disagaea did better, anyway. Insulting.

I'm obsessed with the music in this closing sequence of the 1989 PBS Nature documentary The Everglades Rain Machine, which ends with this incredibly moody and dire meditation on the slow murder of the Everglades. The saxophone at 0:27 makes this feel like the end of a Metal Gear Solid game.

If feel insane. I used to be able to record in QuickTime with my iPhone and control the camera tilt.
They... updated it so I can't tilt it. I can spin my phone camera around in a circle, but the phone's accelerometer keeps the video oriented so the ceiling is always at the top of the frame.

Final Fantasy Legend of the Crystals is an acquired taste. I keep thinking back fondly on it largely because I love the wild faces they give to the main character whenever he yells.
