I approach the completion of the Somna Botanical Survey; and a chance to move onto a part that has most fascinated myself and many others, the linguistics of Somnatus!

In the meantime; some of my favorite specimens that I documented in the wild.

Have you ever wondered where Amino Acids got their name?

This human person made a guide on the historical origins of their names. I have been struggling to remember the identifiers, and I thought knowing the history is very helpful to me, and may be helpful to others

A small project I made during the last Furality Online Xperience, Umbra.

The convention was set on a Desert Exoplanet during an approaching Eclipse, and provided a chance for me to document and comment on morphology/characteristics of the planets flora. Additional sketches by @exhor.bsky.social.

I always hated questions like this on math assignments in my formative education. It always felt like there were too many things to consider that weren't related to mathematics. But I suppose that's fairly telling of my now rather poor ability to think of mathematics in an applied context.

I recently learned the russian word Та́мошний which carries the meaning of "The local thing that is being spoken of", like "Та́мошний рестора́н ужа́сен." (The local resturant is terrible).

I was wondering if the english word Local carries the same intonation of applying only to the place spoken of.
