I haven't really had the chance to try out the new firearms system, although I have a good hundred hours in 42 - I play on Steam deck and the new system just isn't set up for that 😅

What kind of turnaround and what level of feedback are you hoping for? I have extensive beta reading experience but if your books are running up to 200k, I'd need to consider the logistics before being able to offer...

It's probably been somewhere between five and eight years since I logged on last, so there might be options available for full-length works now, but it really seemed to cater more for short-form formats.
Would be good for poems or short stories! I used to put some flash fic up 😊

Unless it's changed significantly from when I used it, it only really works for shorter clips of fiction too - my standard-length chapters at the time had to be divided into three or four separate uploads, each which required me earning the cache to post by critiquing first...

Ohhhh, see the songs are what caught my imagination when I was a kid reading them for the first time - made the world seem so much more alive and vibrant and a *real place*
And rereading as an adult I still love to singsong them to my own imagined tunes

There is the hand-waving of the rank-and-file crims only being stuffed in the Asylum temporarily because of problems at the "real" prison but it's uhhh... not great the place is set up to easily sub in for a supremely punitive cage rather than, you know...treatment.

There are reasons for critique, but Syndrome's motivations shouldn't be mistaken - he doesn't want to give everyone powers. He wants to be THE ONLY ONE with powers, get all the adulation playacting superhero and *then*, when he's had enough of it, poison the well behind him.

I'd like to think it was a regular Thursday kind of thing across the Federation, lol, but Olly's genealogy coming from the exact same planet we saw in TOS rather than just A Zeus Out There Somewhere makes it seem more rare

The "you're the monster" line broke me, but I feel the acting carried the rest of the truncheon-text up to that point.
I did see it at the cinema, though, and not while second-screen as I cooked pasta so...sorry, Netflix executives.
