We Are Waiting, by Leslie Takahashi This is the season of anticipation, Of expecting, of hoping, of wanting. This is the time of expecting the arrival of something- or someone. We are waiting. Photo taken on a late summer evening hike coming down from Sugarloaf, in Co. Wicklow. Before me is a wide mown grass path with golden grasses to my left and purple Heather and yellow gorse to my right. The view before me is folding gentle hills of the Wicklow mountains looking north and sloping east towards the east coast of Ireland, south of Dublin. My brother is on the path a ways ahead of me.
