Airline service has degraded significantly in recent years. We just want to be treated like human beings. Tickets were affordable when we had leg room. They are nickel and dime-ing us.

Money is an important issue. If a student fails a class, that’s several thousand dollars to retake it.

It all depends on what grades mean.
If the professor is grading for mastery, and if they are a good teacher, the grades should grow over the semester.
If the grade is a reflection of amount of knowledge gained, that’s a different matter.
I disagree with a lot of the points in this article.
