Our study focuses on FAK inhibition in gastrointestinal neuroendocrine tumors (GI-NETs) — rare cancers with limited treatment options.
We show that targeting FAK’s kinase AND scaffold functions:
⚡ Reduces tumor cell growth & invasion
⚡ Induces apoptosis
⚡ Modulates epigenetic marks

Our study on FAK inhibition in GI-NETs reveals its dual role in tumor growth, invasion, and even epigenetic regulation.
Grateful to my team for their dedication, and to all colleagues, collaborators, and friends who supported us along the way. 🙏
