The initial email from OPM (Musk)was confusing from what I gathered. OPM then sent out another email behind the scenes, recommending to think twice about taking the offer.

Like many, he was brainwashed into thinking this administration was for the people. He believed the lies.

The gov employees who voted for Trump are probably feeling betrayed at the moment. They probably fear retaliation if they don't comply with the so-called buyout.

As a retired gov employee, I fear that employees who do not comply with this so called "Buyout " will be retaliated against.

I was a gov employee during that 35-day shutdown. We were required to report to work without pay. I remember some employees having to borrow money from family members to pay bills. We were reimbursed once gov reopened. But that is not a guarantee. It had to be approved by congress.

Maybe it's time to move to Canada
