He DID have a lot of great insights into corporate dysfunction and how the private sector is prone to the exact kind of issues the public sector is. The only issue is that he's a misanthrope who blames disfunction on the average worker/middle manager and thinks we need a system of corpo god kings

It's worse than that. JD was practically groomed into politics and hand-picked by Peter Thiel and the Project 2025 people to be VP so the "billionaires as god-kings" contingent had a compliant part of the admin who would insulate thrm from Trump's mood swings.

"Ai Placeholders" is an obvious PR move that gets them ahead of the inevitable controversy on release where some of the more obviously AI assets are found, then they can say "whoops, slipped through" and remove them while keeping in all the other generated stuff that went under the radar in.

I think Execs (rightfully) like Gunn cause he's seemingly the only guy in the industry that simultaneously "gets" source material and can also consistantly sell it to mass audiences.
