This project is one of my first experiences leading a research effort from start to finish, and I am still in the process of learning—both technically and conceptually—about the intersection of biology and machine learning.

Key contributions include curating and proposing a new toxicity metric addressing limitations of traditional half-life-based measures and developing a variational autoencoder (VAE)-based framework for pesticide molecule generation, inspired by techniques in drug discovery.
