Quilting, mostly
You could obliquely call it "The Ninth" because it has 9 blocks in it and honors your tradition without burdening such a cheerful and cozy piece with the name of a necromancer.

That iridescent frog is incredible. The whole quilt is wonderful.

Thank you! I only knew that her favorite colors were "magenta and cream," so I included a range of hues that could be considered magenta. 😆

Some details:

The quilting is a meandering strawberry vine doodle with flowers and leaves.

The backing is a cotton sheet with magenta cotton lawn binding

It's so odd how some clothes last while others don't - sometimes defying brand, fabric content, and quality of construction.

This is worth celebrating! 👏

Some details. I want to move towards using free hand quilting to "draw" images in the fabric. A sewing machine is a very large and clunky drawing implement.

I think the phrase horror vacui is clearer than "weird little guys" because you're contrasting a specific form of minimalism and maximalism. "Weird little guys" is overly broad. I thought you were talking about those baroque portraits of pale Dutch merchants with small hands - not Bosch.

Thank you!

I know. It's awful. I made some moderation lists where I flag all ads, genitalia, and irrelevant accounts to mute them. But they keep proliferating.

Ooh! 3D printing sounds like very interesting option.

Maybe helpful to add that my first version was for a big dude. It worked well for him after removing the front darts. He didn't need the shaping in the bust.

I highly recommend it. I love Waffle patterns. The drafting and illustrated instructions are excellent. I think that if I made another one, I might think about what tools I want to keep on my person and not add as many pockets. (They get heavy and bulky).

The fit on that is incredible! Well-done with a tricky material and cut.

Pattern: Waffle Patterns Kaede Utility Apron
Fabric: heavyweight cotton herringbone
Notions: twill tape, plastic buckles, nylon webbing

I'm interested to see what happens after it's quilted. I think I will focus on highlighting and drawing out the interlocking rings with a cobalt blue stitch pattern.

The comparison is trippy! They're both beautiful and interesting.

That's so cute. The fit is really good, too. What pattern did you use?
