Had my first pitch last night since recovering from long COVID, so it's been two years or so since my last one. It was low-key and fun. My pitch was a little shaky, but I'm not pressed. Just need to shake out the cobwebs. #scriptsky.

New York, NY. I was there Monday and Tuesday for (can't say yet 😁) and took a sunrise walk. Just waking up NYC is my favorite NYC.

Okay, let's start a new weekly initiative 🤩

We'll call it #WritingWinsWednesday!

Every Wednesday, we'll take a moment to think of a recent win: a placement, writing new pages, etc. It doesn't matter how small — every win counts.

Share a recent win with us below, and let's celebrate each other! 💫

Friends, my romcom and I have been chosen for something cool! And next week I'm heading to NYC for additional cool things with another project! Sorry for the vague-booking, but career-wise there's a lot of cool, and I wanted to share! 🥳 #scriptsky

Superman was a summer movie delight except for the part where I was startled and horrified by Nathan Fillion's wig. 😆

Me on the floor, staring at the ceiling, trying to work through a story beat.
My love, coming into the room: "Hey hon..."
*sees me on the floor*
"Oh, sorry! Didn't know you were writing."

I've been doing so much writing I've managed to crack my desk where I lean on my elbows when I'm staring at the computer and thinking. This should be an indication of how hard I'm working. Also that perhaps we did not purchase the highest quality office furniture available.
