The beer world is still mostly male-dominated. If I can offer you some cheerful news, it’s that I am the assistant brewer at a small brewery on Vancouver Island in Canada. The lead brewer and brewmaster/owner are both also women, like me. We might be the only one now, but there will be others soon.
